RONIN DEVELOPMENT

Ronin is thrilled to announce that we were selected to do major structural work to this beautiful Boca Home. We are pushing out the rear wall about 14 feet and putting on a second floor, not only over the addition, but sliding the second floor over the existing family room. We are once again designing a custom stair to service the second floor. We removed the existing covered patio and are replacing it with a modern up to date one, including arches and cast stone columns. This is being done mainly to allow us to raise the height of the existing sliding doors throughout the home to eight foot. We also have to remove over 100 feet of concrete tie beams. We will be remodeling the master bathroom as well. Ronin was also contracted to replace all the windows in the home to PGT Winguard Impact windows. We will be installing either the new PGT Winguard 770 sliding doors or the PGT Winguard 780 sliding French doors. Both doors are of very high quality.
This project comes with a sad story and unfortunately this is not the first time we seen this. The owners spent a lot of money having plans drawn. The plans were incomplete and turned out the building could not be built as drawn. Trusses were wrong, There was no engineering at all. The roof and the roof line didn't work. The plans were a real mess. However we were willing to correct what we needed and do the missing engineering. But when the customer decided to add the second story we brought in one of the designers we work with to do the drawings. Ronin does offer design and build services. We had him completely redesign and redraw the entire project. He charged less then half of what was spent on the original plans. The plans were done so well, that when we sumitted them to the city, they got approved right away with no comments. That is really rare. The owners are thrilled about the entire project. Ronin was able to provide them with everything they wanted at a very fair price.
